Common questions
Is Typing Test by Dublesh free?
Yes. It is completely free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server.
Which exams can I practice for?
UPSI English (30 WPM, 85% accuracy) and UPSI Hindi (25 WPM, 85% accuracy) are built in. You can also create a custom exam with your own speed target, accuracy and language for any other test.
How are Gross WPM and Net WPM calculated?
Gross WPM is characters typed divided by 5, divided by minutes. Net WPM subtracts each wrong word from that word count before dividing by minutes. Accuracy is correct words divided by total words.
Does the typing test work for Hindi?
Yes. Choose a Hindi exam and type with any Hindi keyboard installed on your device. Words are checked for valid Devanagari letter structure. Numbers and capitalized names count as correct.
